NW Timberjacks Baseball Club
16U Junior Olympic Team
The NW Timberjacks U16 Junior Olympic Team has been formed and will represent Western Washington at this years Junior Olympic Tournament in Peoria and Surprise, AZ. The Junior Olympic Championship is a grassroots Olympic Development Program launched in 1996 in cooperation with the U.S. Olympic Committee and serves as the foundation of USA Baseball's athlete development pipeline. During the tournament USA Baseball will evaluate players to be considered for the 2009 Youth National Team. Players for the National Team are chosen exclusively from this event and will compete in the International Baseball Federation Championships in Taiwan later this summer.
